Dear Family of God,
It is almost the end of 2015. This is hard to believe that another year is almost gone. I am looking forward to the best year ever in 2016 because in the last week, I have discovered a tremendous truth. I plan on implementing this truth in the next year. Proverbs 30 says that the earth cannot bear up under the reign of a slave. Therefore, one must be renewed in their mind to think and live as a king, in order to please their heavenly Father as the King of all kings. I will quote from my new book, Finding Father, finding Wholeness, to illustrate this tremendous truth.
“It is a tremendous truth that the LORD chooses the lowly, despised things of this world to be his greatest leaders and servants. But, the difficulty and crisis comes when these lowly, despised ones carry their mind-set of being a beggar into their Royal Calling. There was a movie called, The Prince and the Pauper (1937).In Tudor England, two boys are born on the same day in the most different circumstances imaginable. Tom is the son of vicious criminal John Canty while Edward VI is a prince and the heir of King Henry VIII of England . One grows up in poverty, hungering for something better for himself and his family, the other in isolated luxury, with a strong curiosity about the outside world. When they are youngsters, they meet and are astounded by their striking resemblance to each other. As a prank, they exchange clothes, but the Captain of the Guard mistakes the prince for the pauper and throws him out of the palace .grounds. Tom is unable to convince anybody except for the Earl of Hertford of his identity. Everyone else is convinced that he is mentally ill. So, in this movie the true Prince Edward exchanges his clothes with the Pauper, Tom Canty. Now, because of the mistaken identities, Tom, the Pauper becomes Edward the Prince and Edward, the Prince becomes Tom, the Pauper.
This movie is a very good illustration of the problem that many leaders face as they are enthroned with Christ to operate and to rule in His name and on His authority in His behalf. The prince lived for a time in poverty as Tom Canty and he learned compassion for the poor and needy. Before this experience, he looked down at the poor and needy person, but now he saw that they had way more love and compassion than he did. His heart changed and he became a fantastic king when he went back to his palace. On the other hand, Tom Canty had to learn how to think as a prince, instead of a pauper for the sake of England and its government.
Moses tells God, who am I that you would use me, use someone else. I cannot speak, etc. His mind greatly struggled to enter into the call of God that was now to be fulfilled in and through him. God has a set time for everything under the sun, but being renewed in the spirit of our mind (Eph 4:24) includes being changed in the way we see ourselves as a Prince and true child of the King of Kings. Some of the necessary preparation that we all need to be trained to rule as one of the King´s servants is to learn how to deal with rejection, slander, misunderstanding while at the same time learning how to increase in compassion. Moses´s time in the very Presence of the Lord imparted into him the virtue of meekness. This became a great asset in dealing with the failures and sins of the people that he led.
THE LORD loves to take the lowly insignificant people of the world and make them Princes and Rulers over others, as the following Scriptures testify:
1 Kings 16:1-3 Then the word of the LORD came to Jehu the son of Hanani against Baasha, saying, Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins; Behold, I will take away the posterity of Baasha, and the posterity of his house; and will make thy house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
Psalm 113:7&8 He raiseth up the poor out of the dust, and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill; That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
Daniel 4:17 ESV “The sentence is by the decree of the watchers, the decision by the word of the holy ones, to the end that the living may know that the Most High rules the kingdom of men and gives it to whom he will and sets over it the lowliest of men.’
Phillipians 2: 5-9 “ Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:”
God makes us to reign as Princes, but Princes need the understanding of the ways of the Lord and they need to learn the ways of Royalty or how to live as a Royal Priest and King. Prov. 28:16 -The prince that lacketh understanding is also a great oppressor, but he that hateth covetousness shall prolong his days.
Prov 30:21-23 AMP: “Under three things the earth is disquieted and quakes, and under four it cannot bear up: Under a servant when he reigns, under a [spiritually blind] fool when he is filled with food, under an unloved woman when she gets married, and under a maidservant when she supplants her mistress.” There are four things that the earth cannot bear up under and one of them has to do with a slave being a Prince or Ruler.God gave the earth to the children of men (Psalm 115:16) and He will not take it back from them until it is the time, but for now the earth is given to men. Therefore, when a slave rules, he has to be retrained in how to think as a Ruler and not as a slave.
At a prophetic time in history, the Lord changed the standard for governing within His kingdom and He declared that the old ways shall be no more to the prince of his people. EZEK 21: 25-26 (NAS). “And thou, O deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day is come, in the time of the iniquity of the end, thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Remove the mitre, and take off the crown; this shall be no more the same; exalt that which is low, and abase that which is high.” This is prophetic because the Prince never wore both the crown and the mitre! The crown was for the prince and the mitre was for the high priest. The Lord was declaring that from now on there is a new order of ruling in his Kingdom and it is the way of lowliness and humility. God will not allow priests or kings in his people to operate through pride and arrogance anymore! We are a royal priesthood (1 Peter 2:9). The church of our Lord Jesus Christ is called to be kings and priests “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood. And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.” (Rev. 1:5,6), “And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.” (Rev. 5:10). A priest must have compassion on the poor, needy, rebellious and ignorant people in the world because he himself is surrounded by so many weaknesses. “For every high priest taken from men is appointed in service] to God for the people, to offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins. He is able to deal gently with those who are ignorant and are going astray, since he is also subject to weakness.” (Heb 5:1,2 HCSB). A priest must be filled with a heart of compassion and a king must be able to rule, make decisions and function as royalty. No more can he think of himself as a lowly beggar, an orphan or a nobody, but he must see his calling to be a king. “He raises the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the ash heap, that He may seat him with princes, with the princes of His people.” (Psalm 113:7,8 NKJV). God is looking for the lowly, bruised and broken to lift them out of their ash heap (garbage dump), then He, father God makes them to sit with princes and to reign as a king. The problem is that if I grew up in a palace, then I can easily lack compassion on the poor and ignorant and needy people in the world, but if I grew up in poverty, then I can continue to live like a pauper, even though I am now to reign and act like a king. Hence, the solution is to embrace the grace of God to repent of all pride and hardness of heart and to be poor in spirit (Matthew 5:3) The word poor actually means that you can only beg and if someone does not help you, then you will not survive in life. This involves a total change of heart and this is the true essence of repentance. But, once the heart has been changed, it’s now time to change your mind, so that you can rule as a king and this is the essence of being renewed in the spirit of your mind. (Eph. 4:23). Am I too high to be poor on the inside or am I too low to be a king unto my God? Putting on the new man or true self involves putting on Christ, and taking off the old false self with all of its sinful, fallen corrupt ways of thinking. (Eph. 4:22-24, Romans 13:14) Unbelief is called an evil heart in the sight of God and if I only see myself as a beggar, then I do not believe in my high calling as a king in Christ Jesus. (Eph. 1:18-23, 2:6). We are seated with Him in the heavenly places right now! I never really saw how important it is to see myself on the inside of my heart as a lowly beggar (poor in spirit), but to also see myself on the outside and in my thinking as an exalted son of God in Christ Jesus! If we do not see ourselves as exalted sons and daughters in Christ, then the earth will not be able to bear up under our rulership. This rulership as a parent, employer, President, Chancellor, teacher, Apostle, Prophet, Pastor, Doctor, etc,.)(Prov. 30:21,22). How we see ourselves will be revealed by our speech and actions towards those under our leadership. This is the hour for lowly, meek servants on the inside, but exalted kings on the outside that can lead and govern in Christ, whatever their sphere of government involves.”

Gott segne Dich!
